Schaffner-Bielich Title: Outer crust of nonaccreting cold neutron stars DEPOSIT INFORMATION Description: Six different equations of state and chemical compositions of the outer crust of nonaccreting cold neutron stars (T=0), calculated with the model by Baym, Pethick and Sutherland (Astrophys. J. 170, 299 (1971)) which was extended by several higher order corrections. The different equations of state are based on different theoretical nuclear models: The model 3dsly6 is described in the above article; details about the other five models can be found in Phys. Rev. C 73, 035804 (2006).
